We will classify it under “Other Non-Current Liabilities.” Now understand this with an example. Suppose we purchased goods on credit from a creditor. And we will pay that creditor after 6 years. Now think carefully 👇 Is it a creditor? → Yes But is it current or non-current? Why non-current? Because it is beyond the operating cycle. Let’s say in the question: Your operating cycle is 4 years And payment is after 6 years 👉 So it is clearly beyond the operating cycle Therefore, it becomes a non-current liability.
