The current CA Foundation exam pattern makes students focus on memorizing, in Law. They feel pressured to remember and write exactly what is in the text to get marks.. Parag Gupta thinks this goes against the main goal of a professional course like CA. If they introduce a 30-mark MCQ pattern like they have for CA Inter and Final students will focus on reasoning and understanding concepts. We also talk about how this change could help ICAI have frequent Foundation exams maybe even four times a year. This way students won't feel much stress.
