You’ve heard the term “TRUE & FAIR VIEW” since the first day of accounting… But have you ever actually understood what it means in real life? 👀 Most students memorize the definition. Very few understand the essence behind it. True & Fair View simply means: ✅ Show things as they actually are ✅ Show amounts as they actually are That’s it. A Financial Statement should reflect REALITY — not manipulation, not bias, and not incomplete information. 📌 Building should not be shown as Plant 📌 Salary should not be shown as Rent 📌 ₹15 lakh should not become ₹17 lakh 📌 Liability should not be shown as Equity Because the moment classification or amount becomes misleading… the Financial Statements stop being TRUE & FAIR. In accounting language, this concept is based on: ✔ Faithful Representation ✔ Completeness ✔ Neutrality ✔ Freedom from Material Error And the most underrated part? 🚨 Incomplete information can also become unfair information. Example: If someone says: “We slapped Meet.” You immediately think we are wrong. But if the complete story is: “Meet abused us publicly first, and then we slapped him.” Suddenly the entire perception changes. That difference comes from COMPLETENESS OF INFORMATION. This is why accounting is not just about numbers. It is about presenting the full reality honestly and without bias. Remember this line forever: “Jo jaisa hai, use waisa dikhao. Jo jitna hai, use utna dikhao.” That is the real meaning of TRUE & FAIR VIEW. 📘✨ #CAStudents #Accounting #TrueAndFairView #FinancialStatements #CommerceStudents #CAFoundation #CAInter #Audit #Accounts #AccountingConcepts #FinanceEducation #Commerce #CAClasses #FaithfulRepresentation #BalanceSheet #CashFlow #ProfitAndLoss #LearningMadeSimple #StudyGram #ReelsEducation
