Concepts become clear when explained like this. “Going Concern” — 👉 न बंद करेंगे, न कम करेंगे When a business starts, the intention is never to shut it down or reduce its operations. The vision is to grow, expand, and continue for the long term. That’s the essence of a Going Concern. And this is how learning should be. -- Their mindset is clear: 👉 They don’t want to close the business 👉 They don’t want to reduce its scale 👉 They want it to grow continuously They aim to expand—from selling 4 lakh units today to 15 lakh tomorrow, then 50 lakh in the future. The vision is always growth, never shutdown. This mindset itself is called a Going Concern. 📌 Definition (Exam-ready): A business is said to be a going concern when it has neither the intention nor the need to close down its operations or materially reduce its scale in the foreseeable future. 💡 Key Insight: Because a business is assumed to be a going concern (i.e., it will continue in the long run), it follows all Accounting Standards. The standards you study (AS 1 to AS 29) are applicable assuming the business will continue operating—not shut down. 👉 In short: No closure. No reduction. Only continuation and growth. That’s the essence of a Going Concern. #CAInter #IndAS #GoingConcern #AccountingConcepts #CAStudents #CommerceStudents #CAIndia #SmartLearning
